A few things...

I wanted to write down funny things I have said this week, so Mommy doesn't forget...

-Chinchillas are afraid of snakes!
-Mom, don't say "No" that isn't very nice. You say, "Yes Maam!"
-I can't use the potty now, I'm too dizzy.
-I just need to take a little break, okay?
-Would you look at that!?!
-Mom, don't say, "Just a minute." That is a bad choice.
-Daddy, You're gonna be the BIG BRODER!!!!

Farm Livin' is the Life for Me!

Mom and Dad had a work trip, so I stayed at the Farm with Reina and Papa. I had so much fun that I didn't want to leave! We did a lot of "fantastic" stuff and watched Snow White and the 7 Horses (I think that is what it is called?).

You gotta say, "Yee Haw!" when you wear Papa's cowboy hat!
Me and Papa on a walk-about.
My friends, Will and Cordell. They are pretty tough boys, but I try to keep up.
The new farm kittens, Target and Tigger. Gracie (the Great Dane) licks her chops when she sees them.
Reina takes me on the big 4-wheeler, but Cordell has a little one of his own. Hold on!
I went to the creek a couple times a day to throw rocks in. I told Reina we couldn't leave yet because we still have more rocks!!

Thanks for taking good care of me Reina and Papa! I love you so much and can't wait to visit again (without Mom and Dad)!

Don't say STUPID...

It's not very nice. The only way you can say that word is by telling people..."Don't say Stupid, it's not very nice!"

Another Big Girl Thing

Since I've been 3, I've been waiting for a spot in the big girl gymnastics class. Today was my first day. Mom took me, but when we were all lined up Ms. Audrey told her that moms don't have to go anymore. So, Mom went upstairs and watched me from the big windows. I waived at her a lot so she wouldn't feel sad. Later she told Dad she almost cried. Moms are are weird sometimes. Anyway, it was "fantastic!" I was a little distracted because the big girls were practicing on the other side of the gym. They are fast and flip flop all over the place. My new class is fun and the good news is...you still get lots of stamps at the end.

!Asilacinto!

Sometimes mom and I say spanish words together. I also like making up my own spanish words. This morning I told mom, "Asilacinto!"... (with all the enthusiam of an old-school Argentine butcher, hands raised and in a big voice). I'm pretty sure it is a salutaion. "Ochomigo" and "Hastalaplenta" are other good words I made up.

Sharks and Starfish, Oh my!

Today Daddy took a break from work and we went to the big Aquarium in Oklahoma. It was "amazing!" We saw real sharks and starfish. They are my favorites! They had every kind of water animal, even a turtle bigger than me! Here are a few pictues:
I kept impersonating a fish with funny gills, but just when Mom would start to take a picture, I'd say..."Okay, Cheese!" and forgot the fish face.
Here is Dad and me looking at a very little tan shark. I told him it looked like a burrito.
Here are Marlon and Nemo!
Here's Brucey! His tummy anyway. We walked through this big tunnel to see the sharks and it was kind of dark...maybe their naptime. They swam right over us, but I wasn't scared. It was my favorite exhibit!
Here are some tickley squishy things.

Here I am touching a real starfish. It was soft. I didn't want to touch the stingray though, just look.

A New Brother

Well, the Dr. said there is a baby boy in Mom's tummy. I wanted a sister, but I think I'll like him. Dad says,"It will balance out our house, because sometimes girls can be a little sassy." I already have 2 brothers though. Let me tell you about them...

My doggy brother, Bandit Trouble:
He is black and has pretty ears that I like to pet. He sometimes hides from me because he knows he can't be mean if I accidently try to ride him or wrap my silky around his head like a pirate. Sometimes we take him to doggy school to play with his friends. He loves it! When we pick him up, he is so tired and hungry I usually tell mom he wants a taco. He thinks he is part cat because he likes to wrestle with Jenks and eat cat food.

My kitty brother, Jenkins Edward (Jenks):
He is lazy and lets me pet him all the time. He's a snuggler, like me, so that is how I know we are related. Some nights he sleeps at the end of my bed. I like to talk baby talk to him and put "lips" (chap-stick) on him, even though mom says he has germs. He has a "licky spot" and when you pet him on his back, he licks real fast. It's funny! Mom says that when we are gone, she think Jenks drinks martinis and tries to sell Bandit on Ebay.

I wonder what the new brother will be like? I have seen pictures of him, but he doesn't look much like a baby!

At night...

When my Daddy was little, each night he would get a kiss, hug and a scream (because the hug would be so big he would scream). Now each night I give Dad a hug, kiss and a noogie. It's good times!

I have a baby in my tummy and a trampoline at my house. I have been telling friends, family and strangers that all week. They seem excited.

I'm the Birthday Girl!

I had my jumpin' party today and had a big time! It was bad weather outside, but most of my sweet friends and family came anyway. We played for a long time, then had cake and presents. I picked my cake this year...Lermaid (Little Mermaid) and it was oh so tasty. Mom took too many fun pictures to post, but here are some.

If you came to my party....Thanks, I love you!

An Apple a Day....

....still means that you that you have to have a check up each year. Here I am with my great doctor. He has taken good care of me since I was 2 weeks old and is so funny! He knows my uncle Marc too...they went to Mexico together to help people. I'm not so fond of that "lady" that comes in after and stabs me in leg....Ouch! Remind me to call the CDC (when I can dial) and tell them thanks for all the shots!

Here are my 3-year stats: 32 lbs & 30.5 inches

Encore, please!

Last night we went out for burritos and saw a great ballerina, glow-in-the-dark show. I liked the show because it had funny lights and good music. Dad was so sweet to take us beacuse I know he doesn't like ballet as much as basketball. It was so fun, I have been asking all morning if we can see the ballerinas again today or tomorrow or in three days!?

Here is a picture of me just before the show asking Mom, "Where are the ballerinas?"

I love to jump!

For my birthday, Daddy "made" me a little trampoline. I got so excited when I saw it that I said, "I can't not believe it! It's a miracle!" I have been jumping on it alot because I love to jump! Mom says I might have frog DNA.

My First Haircut

Haircuts are fun, not scary! I had my very first one today. Mrs. Camille cut it and did a great job! Aunt Paige came too and brought me a big sucker for a special haircutting treat. Daddy had a meeting on the square and he stopped by to check on me. It was like a haircut party.

Here I am sitting on Paige's lap. I was a little nervous at first, so she said I could sit with her.

Here I am with Mrs. Camille. I like her because she said I looked like a princess. She kept my curls for Mom and said my first haircut was free. Thanks a lot, Mrs. Camille!

Christmas

Santa brought me an abacus this year (Great Grandpa K. would be so proud I wanted one). And according to my calculations, Christmas was fun! Unfortuntely, since Mommy has a baby in her tummy she forgets a lot of stuff (like where she put the camera). Mom said she would put a few Christmas pictures up when she finds "the darn thing."
....So Mom found the camera, but messed something up trying to upload pictures. Dad is going to try and make the pictures come back.

Pretty Lights

Tonight we took Grams and Pa to the square to see the lights. They were beautiful! I also got to ride a pony (that was my favorite part). Here are a few pictures...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Happy Camper

It has been really warm at our house. We went camping this weekend in the "rain forrest." Mom and Dad sure "crack me", they are so funny. I saw lots of squirrels and struck up some potty conversations with fellow campers. I also worked on phonics with Mom and Dad, asking them to repeat things after me, by syllable (like..."Can you say A-corn?").

Hmmm....if a 2 year old throws rocks in the forest..... will they get in trouble?
Here I am throwing rocks in the creek while on a hike.
Whew...I was tired!

Gingerbread House

Today Mom and I made a Gingerbread house. The great thing about making a gingerbread house is that you use candy (and squishy stuff that tastes like birthday cake). You can eat the candy before you put it on the house, while you are making the house, then after it is all done.

I also taught Mom and Dad a new song today (I changed the ending myself)...."We wish you a Merry Christmas, We wish you a Merry Christmas and a HAPPY FACE!"

Addie likes vitamins

Mom was trying to teach me something to tell Dad....
Mom said, "Can you say, Mom likes diamonds?!" I repeated that a few times, but then told Dad, "Can you say, Addie likes vitamins?!"
